Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is a priority for Koda. This policy explains how your information is collected, processed and protected, both in the app and on kodafood.com.

1. Data we collect

We only collect the data strictly necessary for the app to work:

• Authentication data: your email address or your Apple/Google unique identifier when creating an account, managed through Supabase.
• Usage data: your grocery lists, saved recipes and meal plans, to keep your devices in sync.
• Billing data: subscription transactions are securely processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We never have access to your payment details.

2. Website analytics

kodafood.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics solution with no persistent identifier: no personally identifying data is collected and no profile is built.

Additional analytics (Amplitude, EU-hosted servers) are enabled only after your explicit consent through the consent banner. Until you accept, no third-party script is loaded and no request is sent. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

3. Data sharing

Your data is never sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes. It is only passed to our technical subprocessors:

• Supabase: secure user authentication.
• Cloudflare: hosting of the website and backend, AI import processing, cookieless analytics.
• Apple and RevenueCat: subscription management.

4. Data security

All communications between the app and our servers are encrypted (SSL/TLS). Your profile data and recipes are stored on secure servers.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data.

• You can change your nickname or household preferences at any time in the settings.
• You can delete your entire account and all associated data directly from the app's settings screen.
